what: we are excited to invite you to Paper Making Day, an annual celebration of Santa Fe’s growing circular textile reuse economy, hosted by we.grow.eco.
on August 3rd, we will transform roughly 50-100 lbs. of paper and textile waste into beautiful handmade paper and journals.
help us create 1,000 sheets of paper from excess cotton and plant-based textiles.
this event is also a crucial fundraiser. our goal is to raise funds for a new Hollander Paper Beater, which will enhance our ability to process textile waste and expand our artist residencies, workshops, and educational programs. Any remaining proceeds will support art programs in rural Northern New Mexico schools.
