  1. creative reuse & cyanotype

    • workshop length: 1-3 class visits

    • overview: this workshop introduces students to cyanotype printing using found objects and recycled materials. it encourages creativity, environmental awareness, and artistic expression. students will explore paper-making, cyanotype printing, and art creation using eco-friendly materials.


  2. handmade paper & journal making

    • workshop length: 1-3 class visits

    • overview: students will create handmade paper and journals using recycled materials from the school. this workshop emphasizes the importance of reusability and sustainability, while sparking conversations about waste and creativity.

  3. fire & water ecology: exploring healthy watersheds

    • Workshop Length: 1-2 class visits

    • Overview: Targeted for grades 6-12, this lesson explores the complex interactions between fire, water, and ecosystems within watersheds. Students will create biome models and study the impact of fire on ecosystems, blending ecology and hands-on learning.


  4. teambuilding & leadership development

    • overview: Ideal for grades 5-8, this program focuses on leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through collaborative challenges. It’s designed to build trust, foster community, and enhance individual confidence.


  5. deconstructive engineering through clothing design

  6. cyanotype patch making

    • workshop length: 1-2 class visits

    • overview: designed for K-12 students, this workshop allows participants to create their own wearable cyanotype patches. using recycled fabrics and found objects, students will learn the cyanotype process and create unique, eco-friendly patches to take home. This workshop combines art, science, and environmental education in a fun, hands-on format.
